Accessibility Statement
Gerai’s commitment to improving access to its public website and merchant platform, and how to report a barrier.
Our commitment
Gerai is committed to making its website and services more usable by people with diverse abilities, technologies, devices, languages, and ways of interacting. Accessibility is an ongoing product and content responsibility rather than a one-time declaration.
Gerai’s accessibility work is guided by the following principles:
- use semantic structure and clear language;
- support keyboard and assistive-technology use where practical;
- avoid relying on colour alone to convey essential meaning;
- provide useful labels, instructions, and error information; and
- consider accessibility when changing content, navigation, and interactive workflows.
Accessibility approach
Gerai uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference point for design, implementation, and review. Relevant considerations include perceivable content, operable controls, understandable interactions, and robust semantic markup.
Reviews may combine automated checks, keyboard use, responsive testing, code review, and feedback from people using the service. Automated testing alone cannot establish whether a page or workflow is accessible, so reported real-world barriers remain important input.
Current status and limits
Accessibility can vary across content, devices, browsers, account configurations, and connected services. Gerai does not publish an exhaustive compatibility matrix or a claim that no barriers exist. A user may encounter a problem that has not yet been identified or reproduced.
When Gerai becomes aware of a barrier within its control, it can assess the affected task, available workarounds, severity, and feasible remediation. The order and timing of changes depend on impact, technical constraints, and other relevant obligations.
Third-party services
Some Gerai journeys may connect to content or services operated by third parties, including licensed payment gateways selected for payment processing. Those third parties control their own interfaces and accessibility practices.
Gerai welcomes reports about barriers encountered during an end-to-end journey, including where the affected step appears to be operated by a connected provider. This helps Gerai explain the boundary, identify an alternative route where available, or raise the issue with the relevant provider.
Report a barrier
Email accessibility feedback to hello@gerai.shop. A report can be submitted by the affected person or by someone assisting them.
If possible, include:
- the page address or part of the service involved;
- the task you were trying to complete;
- what happened and what you expected to happen;
- your browser, device, or assistive technology, if relevant; and
- your preferred contact method for follow-up.
You do not need to disclose a disability or provide medical information to report an accessibility barrier.
Request assistance
If a barrier prevents access to information or completion of a task, use the same email address to describe what you need. Gerai will consider a practical alternative or assistance based on the request and the service boundary involved, without promising that every format or accommodation will be available in every circumstance.
For general enquiries, see Contact Gerai. Information about personal data submitted with feedback is available in the Privacy Policy.
